The River Lyon is a spate river which offers good salmon fishing in the right conditions. Freshets released from Loch Lyon at regular intervals during the summer months help to keep the water level up.
Innerwick Estate owns 2 miles of the north bank running from the Innerwick settlement to the top of the pool before the bridge at Camusvrachan.
Casting lessons can be arranged or the keeper may be available to spend some time showing you the river. Contact David for availability and rates.
Salmon permits are £25 per day and are available from 1st of May through until 15th October. Fly fishing for trout is £5.00 for a daily permit or a weekly permit is available at £10.00

Glenlyon is renowned for its challenging stalking. The Innerwick stalking ground is mostly heather with grass areas and peat bogs and offers testing stalking over a variety of terrain which is steep in places, a reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
A footpath leading from Innerwick to Rannoch divides the stalking ground into eastern and western beats, the high ground offers spectacular views north over Loch Rannoch, and south to Ben Lawers. An Argocat is used to access most areas and to bring beasts back to the larder.
Stag stalking on a daily basis is available from mid-September through to the end of the season on 20th October, earlier stalking may be available in some years but is subject to seasonal variation.
