Innerwick to Bridge of Balgie

2.75 miles / 4.5 km 1.5 hours
Unsurfaced but marked woodland paths, this walk starts from the Innerwick car park and provides a chance to explore the glens middle reaches, climbing through the Ben Meggernie birchwoods gives fine views and the opportunity to visit the local post office & tea rooms is on the route.

Kerromore Woods, Glenlyon

5km / 3 miles 1.5 - 2 hours
There are three car parks on the Lawers road all with trails into the Kerrowmore Woods, this circular walk is on the south side of Glen Lyon and mixes forestry tracks and winding paths through the woods and moorland, paths are marked but are faint in places.

Carn Gorm, Meall Garbh, Carn Mairg & Creag Mhor

11.25 miles / 18 km 6 – 8 hours
Hill track and then mountain path, starting at the Invervar carpark, a straightfoward circuit of 4 Munros situated mostly on a spacious plateau with excellent views over Glen Lyon, Ben Lawers and Loch Rannoch on a clear day, fence posts aid navigation in poor weather.

Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlas

Ben Lawers is one of the highest mountains in the southern part of the Scottish Highlands, it lies to the north side of Loch Tay and is the highest point of a long ridge that includes seven Munros. Its great height is undermined by a high level car park to begin the ascent, and this is one of the most popular hills in Scotland. A second Munro - Beinn Ghlas - is crossed en-route and is barely noticed by many, a clear path to summit but remember this walk is at a high level and is very exposed to bad weather.

The Birks of Aberfeldy

3.5km / 2 miles 1 - 2 hours
An extremely popular short walk, the fine walk up the steep gorge of the Moness burn reveals several waterfalls. A very good waymarked path with a good amount of up and downhill, the walk passes above steep drops but there are handrails for much of the route.

Falls of Acharn near Kenmore

2km / 1.25 miles 1.5 hours
This very beautiful short walk makes a circuit around the little ravine of the Falls of Acharn above the village of the same name, the falls are very attractive and can be viewed through a Victorian 'Hermit's Cave'. Good tracks and paths although care is needed near the edges of the gorge if the path is left.
